NATIONAL ATHLETICS LEAGUE
We are really excited to share the news that Yate & District AC have been accepted into the newly formed National Athletics League (NAL),
Everybody at the club were very saddened when they heard the news that the clubs founder and first chairman, Mike Smith, had passed away on the 16th November.
We are really pleased to let you we have a trainee Sports & Exercise Psychologist now working with us at Yate AC – Matt Cheesbrough MSc MBPsS.
The Club has been approached by a student Physiotherapist who needs to do 100 hours of sports massage in order to gain a qualification.
Wow, the season has come and gone in a flash, and now, with the cross country season already underway, and the indoor season creeping up on us, there’s lots and lots to catch you all up on, including what’s going on with the track, the launch of our new Masters training session and our forthcoming Celebration of the Season evening.
But first, here’s a very brief round-up of the season..
