Senior athletes from 40 teams across the Midlands compete in the Midland League.

The League is split into 6 divisions; with Divisions 1-3 run in a traditional format, fed from 3 regionalised Division 4 groups below.

From 2013 – 2019, Yate competed alongside Bristol & West in a composite team, regularly placing in the top division.

From 2021 onwards Yate will once again compete as a standalone team, starting in Division 3.

The team is drawn from U20, Senior and Masters athletes although U17s are eligible and may be invited to compete where appropriate.

There are typically 4 matches across the season; Usually 1 home match and 3 hosted by other clubs in the Division.
