The event will be operated under World Para Athletics (WPA) Rules & Regulations.

The venue has a 2-tone grey Mondo track, installed in 2019.

Entry

Entries Open Thursday 14 March 2024 / Close Friday 12 April 2024

All event entry will take place via Roster Athletics website.

Overseas athletes must request entry to WPA SDMS system via their National Paralympic Committee (NPC). Entry MUST also be completed directly on the event website Via the link below.

The entry deadline is 12th April 2024.  The entry fee is £7 per event (MAX 4 events).

Note: To ensure the event runs to time, there is a cap on all field entries – 12 ambulant / 10 seated.

Note: Entry to 100m Ambulant, Wheelchair and FrameRunning includes both Heats on Saturday and Finals on Sunday. All athletes will progress from Heats to Finals, with the Finals seeded by performances on the Saturday.

International Classification

The Coventry Spring Meet will offer Physical Impairment (PI) & Intellectual Impairment (II) international classification opportunities prior to the competition. Classification paperwork will need to be submitted to WPA’s SDMS. WPA manage appointment allocations for international classification. It is not guaranteed that every athlete who enters Coventry requiring classification will receive an appointment. Please contact your National Paralympic Committee to submit your paperwork. Note: for UK Athletes, interest for international classification has now closed. There will be no national (UK) classification offered at this event.

Travel & Visas

Individuals will be responsible for arranging their own travel to United Kingdom and to/from the competition and classification venue. The nearest local airport is Birmingham International.

Individuals arriving from outside United Kingdom must follow the UK government guidance located HERE.

Insurances

All athletes will be required to have their own medical/travel insurance in place for the duration.

Accommodation

Individuals will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation and transport to/from accommodation.  Below are recommendations of nearby hotels:

Parking

There are 2 car parks adjacent to the athletics track – Car Park 12 and Car Park 13. Both have ANPR.

Dogs

Only registered Guide and Assistance Dogs are permitted within the competition venue.
