Training is available for all athletes at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex.
We run our Junior Academy sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays we run one session from 6pm-7pm
On Wednesdays we run two consecutive sessions. Our first session runs from 6pm-7pm and our second one runs from 7pm – 8pm.
After a joint warm up, athletes are grouped by age and then train in a variety of track and field disciplines.
Disciplines are rotated each week, so everyone gets a go at everything!
Athletes may progress from the Academy to specialist training on a “Club night”.
These sessions are for athletes aged U13 through to Masters and takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm – 8:30pm, as well as Saturdays from 11am -12.30pm.
For anybody over the age of 35, our newly introduced Masters-only session runs from 10:00-11:30 on a Sunday morning.
Athletes rotate through all the athletic disciplines, on a weekly basis.
Sessions are split in two, with one half being Track orientated and the other half being Field orientated.
