England Athletics Regional Volunteer Awards 2020

England Athletics are hosting their annual volunteer awards presentation tonight, via the medium of Zoom.

These awards are intended to “honour the fantastic contribution that volunteers make to our sport – shining a spotlight on the dedication, inspiration and hard work that they bring to athletics and running week on week”.

England Athletics have recently celebrated volunteers from the North East, London, West Midlands, East Midlands and the South East.  Saturday 28th November sees the turn of the South West.

This years awards night is particularly exciting for Yate & District Athletic Club, as we are extremely excited to announce that our club has been shortlisted as a contender for this years “South West Club of the Year” award.

We are also very proud to say that club members, Pat Jefferies and Ann Dale have also been shortlisted for individual awards in the “Official of the Year” category!
