It was a great team performance and we had some fantastic results.

Our U13 boys team finished in 1st place and our U13 girls teams finishing 2nd and 6th.

The U11 girls teams finished 5th and 7th, and the U11 boys team finished in 4th place.

What a great debut performance – for many of these athletes it was their first time in a Yate club vest – certainly their first time at Sportshall.

We were also treated to some fantastic individual performances with U13s Excel and Owen ranked 1 and 2 overall in the 1 lap time trial and Annabel finishing 1st in the 4 lap time trial.

A leap of 2.08 in the standing long jump by Annabel alongside an impressive standard of jumping and throwing by the whole team has meant that we are in a strong position going into the next 2 events.

U11 Rhys and Caleb came 3rd and 4th respectively in the 1 lap time trial, Trudie 2nd in the balance event and Demi second in the chest push.
