David Turner (Avon County Coordinator) has issued the following reminder:
Just to remind everyone. The County SportsHall Championships are happening this Saturday, April 30th at Bristol Grammar School sports hall.

- University Road
- 9am registration
- First event 10am.
- Finish around 1pm
- All athletes school years 7-10
- All welcome
- Entry on the day
Sportshall is – as its name suggests – an indoor form of Track and Field Athletics that takes place within a sports hall!
There are 2-lap, 4-lap and 6-lap sprints, standing triple jump, standing long jump, vertical jump, speed bounce and shot.
In the U13 age group (years 7 & 8) athletes should choose a maximum of 1 Track and 1 Field event.
In the U15 age group (years 9 & 10) athletes are encouraged to compete in at least 3 events, including a Track event.
There are facilities for parents to watch.
There will be medals awarded to all County Schools Champions in each age group.
Please note there will be no parking facilities on site (due to BGS exams). NCP Car Parks are situated close by.
