Para success at the Coventry International
Despite the extensive rain overnight, three of our para athletes successfully competed in in an international field. With seeding heats on Saturday and finals on Sunday, all progressed in the rankings and improved their PBs.
Toby Richardson recorded PBs in his wheelchair races 100m, 400m and in his first 800m race.
Nancy Jubb had PBs on Saturday and then improved on that on Sunday in her 100m wheelchair race, where she was pipped on the line by four hundredths of a second.
Chris Callow excelled in his 100m, 400m and 800m frame races. He seemed to specialise in coming from behind only taking the 800m final in the final 150m.
