Relay For Life is a family festival celebrating the power of community fundraising in the fight to beat cancer. Teams fundraise for life-saving cancer research then unite at a weekend-long festival to celebrate and remember everyone who has been affected by cancer.
Merritt vs. Merrett
Owen Merrett and Anna Merritt (no relation) are competing in a head-to-head handicapped virtual hammer competition, via Zoom, in order to raise money for Wiltshire Air ambulance.
Cancer Research UK Relay for life Yate AC Team
Just to let you know we have a team in the 24 hr relay for life at YOSC starting @ 12.00 noon this Saturday 1st July any one who wants to join in the fun, cheer the team on and/or relax in the bar is most welcome. I should be a great weekend finishing at noon on Sunday so plenty of time to pop down and join in!
Monthly Quiz Night for Cancer Research
How knowledgeable are you and your friends? Why not test your skills and join us for our Quiz Night, every last Sunday of the month raising money for Cancer Research.
This event is being run by Matt Spicer our fabulous Hammer Coach. The 1st Quiz is Sunday 30th October 2016 and top prizes include 4 cinema tickets kindly donated by Cineworld, Yate! Our wonderful bar will of course be open + snacks and a raffle at half time!
