Winner of three “Awards Night” Trophies

 Jane was one of those stalwart club members who contributed significantly in club competition.

Joined as a teenager and continued into her senior years.

Pre-dominantly a middle distance (800/1500) on the track she also competed in cross country and on the road but wasn’t averse to having a go at other events in the Womens Midland league as can be seen from the hurdle photo.

She married former club member and two-time award winner, Michael Wassell (son of club coach Glory Wassell).
