Jenny Binks 1996 – 2008
Winner of three club “Awards Night” trophies
In her early years with the club, Jenny showed some good all round ability and indulged in a number of events. However as she matured she began to concentrate more on the middle distance events and cross country.
She began to progressively lower her 800m time and her achievements in 2002 were recognised with the Club Athlete of the Year award.
Further progression was rewarded with a Bronze medal in the Midland Counties U20 championships 800m.
In 2004 Jenny made a real breakthrough, after a solid Cross country season she exploded onto the track smashing her pb’s over 800, 1500 and 3000m and taking the U20 club records in all three.
