The Avon League Round 4 fixture scheduled for Gloucester on Sunday has been called off.
Our junior academy will be closed for the month of September.
We have had such a busy and successful season that a short break will give coaches and athletes a short recovery period. We also have several coaches away during this month. Registered athletes will receive an email with all the details.

The Deaf Studies Trust, along with the Adaptive Athletics project at Yate AC, ran a competitive event for deaf schoolchildren.
On the day, we had 50 competitors from 6 years old to 15 years old. They came from Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire schools.
As a club we compete in five athletics leagues, from the local to the national. All leagues (except AT&F) only have one more match to go.
Here’s an update of what’s been happening.
We are so excited that 18 year old Yate athlete Owen Merrett has been selected to compete at the U20 World Championships!
Owen will be one of only 43 athletes (and only 9 field athletes) who will make up the GB team at this event

Athletics management platform, Roster, are hosting a “Dream Team” game for this weekends World Championships.
With 17 Yate athletes representing 5 different Counties, there is plenty of interest in this years English Schools.
