We have recently found out that we finished in third position in the Neuff Athletic “Standing Triple Jump Challenge”.
As most of our members should now be aware, the Yate Outdoor Sports Complex (YOSC) is now open for restricted training.
England Athletics have today (17th June 2020) issued a revised plan with regards a potential return to competition.

The job of running an athletics club is never an easy one. With both Yate & District Athletic Club and Westbury Harriers struggling, they decided to discus their situations and in April 1997 agreed to form a partnership.
Owen Merrett and Anna Merritt (no relation) are competing in a head-to-head handicapped virtual hammer competition, via Zoom, in order to raise money for Wiltshire Air ambulance.
